Applications are now open for funding of research in 2007.

Please note that the deadline for the application is the 31st of July 2006.
First time applicants are to please submit a Letter of Intent prior to submitting the official application.

Only projects focusing on neuromuscular research will be eligible for funding. Such projects can be from any of the following disciplines:

Biomedical engineering
Genetics
Immunology
Molecular biology
Neurology and neuroscience
Physiology, pathology, cell biology and embryology Pharmacology and anaesthetics Other topics relevant to Muscular Dystrophy that do not fall into the categories outlined above, such as Social Impact Studies. Applicants will be required to submit a Letter of intent.

If any uncertainty exists regarding whether a particular study or topic falls within the funding mandate of the MDF, please submit a “Letter of intent” to verify that the MDF will accept a grant on the particular topic.
